Hiking this rocky trail,
I gain elevation,
collect memories,
and receive blessings.
Alpine moss thrives.
White-tailed Ptarmigans
are camouflaged in rocks.
Mountains clothed in clouds.
My aging self is wrapped
in partly cloudy thoughts
of acceptance, and bright
moments of gratitude.
