Brief Visit with a Hoary Puccoon



Corollas with five flaring lobes.





Typical-sized clump growing in sand.





Clusters of tubular flowers.





Newly emerging.





Narrow leaves with fine, soft hairs.




Habitat: Interior dunes among native grasses.
