Fragments of Poetry 2

The following excerpt is from  Red Bird (c 2008) (Red Bird) by Mary Oliver, from her poem: "Of Goodness"

How good
that the clouds travel, as they do,
like the long dresses of the angels
of our imagination...

  1. Beautiful picture, I would of loved being there.

Yes, this was a magical moment after the "Cool Colorado Rain". Mary and I thanked God for the dramatic view we were given.

  3. Beautiful sunset and I love trillium. I remember when the side of the hill in the woods behind Cronks would be covered with them. Oh and you haven't seen THE BEAR out in your neck of the woods have you!?

The Trilliums must still be there, and Jack-in-the-Pulpit would be growing in the deeper part of the ravine.

Last winter a bear was remotely photographed south of McCarthy Lake, about 1/2 mile from our house.
