Weaving words of grace and gratitude through the fabric of my photography, I wish to share the everyday miracles of God's creation. Writing with a blend of curiosity, discovery, and spirituality, I invite the reader-viewer along a trail of words and images; thoughtfully selected and graciously given.

Water Wheel Waiting
late February, fresh snow
too fresh for animal tracks
water wheel on Honey Creek
held in winter's strong grip
partitions outlined in white
constant flow of clear water
endless flow of water
water flowing
water wheel
will turn again
will resume rotating
with the pulse of spring

WOW, what a contrast! Aren't we blessed here in Michigan? We can enjoy these two scenes plus two more in between.

ReplyDeleteThe winter water wheel is pretty, but the spring version is warm and welcoming. Can you spot the yellow Irises along the stream bank? You may have to enlarge the photo.
Yes, we do love our four lovely seasons here in Michigan.
