Willing II

I am willing to be written on by
the wildflowers of spring,
summer thunderstorms,
the trees of autumn, 
and winter snows.

I pray that each day
I am able to walk outdoors
to be breathed on by the
quiet sounds of creation. 

Willing to be a receptacle
 for His grace.

Full of gratitude
for the gift of seeing:

the transparent network
of dragonfly wings,

slivers of minnows
silvering the dark water.

Delicate drops of rain 
dimpling the lake's silky surface.
