Sonoran Silence

 

In the quiet solitude

of the Sonoran Desert;




Saguaro Cactus

tower over my head.



Mexican Poppies

glow golden at my feet.



Teddy Bear Chollas

are backlit by the sun.


Absolute silence

permeates my soul.
