Red-tailed Hawk: Buteo jamaicensis
Photo Location: Hatchet, Wyoming (Wyoming)
Weaving words of grace and gratitude through the fabric of my photography, I wish to share the everyday miracles of God's creation. Writing with a blend of curiosity, discovery, and spirituality, I invite the reader-viewer along a trail of words and images; thoughtfully selected and graciously given.
What an awesome bird! He must have good eye sight, huh?
ReplyDeleteRich;
ReplyDeleteBeautifuls pics. You may remember me as a Kentwood parent, arborist, fan of your teaching and now mwmber of the Board of Education. Nancy recently sent me a link to your blog and I am honored to be able to share in enjoying your talents.

ReplyDeleteI never would have gotten this close to our Eastern Red-tailed Hawk, but this one in Wyoming was so intent on hunting, that I was able to capture this sequence of shots.
Thanks for your presence at WWFN. I appreciate your loyalty.
Gratefully,
Richard
Brian:
ReplyDeleteI am humbled by your gracious comments.
Thanks to Nancy for bringing you here, and welcome to WWFN.
I've retired from my Teaching career in Kentwood,
but here I am teaching to an audience that includes 96 countries.
Please pass WWFN around to your colleagues, and the KW staffs.
I'd like you to view "A Father's Day Message" in the June '12 archives.
Gratefully,
Richard
