Weaving words of grace and gratitude through the fabric of my photography, I wish to share the everyday miracles of God's creation. Writing with a blend of curiosity, discovery, and spirituality, I invite the reader-viewer along a trail of words and images; thoughtfully selected and graciously given.
My legs may be short
ReplyDeleteAnd my tail so very long
But I move with grace
Jamie: Cool to respond in Haiku. Grace is your middle name Ballerina. Stay tuned here. Thanks for viewing. Rich
ReplyDeleteDad, you asked us to "write a haiku for this long & skinny lizard" (as Jamie did, quite well). Instead, I'll give you a William Stafford quote I found (inspired by your post that included his poetry, I went searching for more):
ReplyDelete"At noon in the desert a panting lizard waited for history, its elbows tense, watching the curve of a particular road as if something might happen."
-William Stafford, from poem "At the Bomb Testing Site"
An unlikely title for a poem, but the words match your photo very well!
Love,
Sarah
