Photo Haiku - Wildlife Series


write a Haiku for
this long and skinny lizard
try to keep it short


 
 



 
young, naïve Bobcat
cautious mother in background
eyes and ears alert
 
 
 
 
 


 
dark eyes, stiff whiskers
warming on the sandy beach
handsome Harbor Seal

  3. Dad, you asked us to "write a haiku for this long & skinny lizard" (as Jamie did, quite well). Instead, I'll give you a William Stafford quote I found (inspired by your post that included his poetry, I went searching for more):

    "At noon in the desert a panting lizard waited for history, its elbows tense, watching the curve of a particular road as if something might happen."
