"tremuloides"

A living tapestry
of leaves
trembles
in the same breath
of air that is
brushing my skin.

Attracting my vision,
bathing my ears,
carrying soft music
deep into my soul.

Adding to the
collection of sounds
I will try to recall
deep into December.

After the leaves
have fallen
with a sound
I cannot name.

  1. The silence of the falling leaves creates a tapestry fully enriching our minds and souls with the utmost colorful beauty of God's endless grace. You truly have a gift for embracing nature and give one pause to reflect on nature with God's true intention. How fortunate are we who are able to view the change of seasons and then have the ability to expose them in their distinct beauty. Every picture and word posted bring forth joy to the heart and soul. Thanks yet again for another beautiful post. Toni Anderson Roberts/children's faith and moral based poetry author

Oh my gosh. Thank you sincerely for your eloquent appraisal of my work.

Regarding this gift... "...fan into flame the gifts you were given." (2 Tim. 1:6)

    Always grateful to God.
